New carpet installation; Musolla Mahallah Uthman

Alhamdulillah, after a lot of hardships, MURC managed to settle the Qiblah issue, thus collecting a fund for new carpet installation.






The parable of those Who spend their substance In the way of Allah is that Of a grain of corn: it groweth Seven ears, and each ear Hath ahundred grains. Allah giveth manifold increase To whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all And He knoweth all things.


Perumpamaan (nafkah yang dikeluarkan oleh) orang-orang yang menafkahkan hartanya di jalan Allah* adalah serupa dengan sebutir benih yang menumbuhkan tujuh bulir, pada tiap-tiap bulir seratus biji. Allah melipat gandakan (ganjaran) bagi siapa yang Dia kehendaki. Dan Allah Maha Luas (karunia-Nya) lagi Maha Mengetahui.

*Pengertian menafkahkan "harta di jalan Allah" meliputi belanja untuk kepentingan jihad, pembangunan perguruan, rumah sakit, usaha penyelidikan ilmiah dan lain-lain.

We just published the first edition of our new monthly newsletter by the name of The Stream. The newsletter’s aimed primarily at content creators. The first version talks about all our recent news. [UCAPAN] Amanat Dr Abdul Bari Awang kepada MURC 2011/2012

Alhamdulillah, mesyuarat antara jawatankuasa perwakilan Mahallah Uthman (Mahallah Uthman Representative Committee - MURC) dengan para Felo serta bekas Pengetua sesi 2009/2011 telah berjaya diadakan pada malam Isnin 31 haribulan Oktober yang lepas.

Di dalam pertemuan yang berlangsung hampir dua jam itu, ada beberapa perkara telah dibincangkan mengenai aktiviti-aktiviti yang bakal dijalankan sepanjang dua bulan terakhir tahun 2011.

Dr Abdul Bari Awang, dalam amanat terakhirnya menitikberatkan keseimbangan komitmen oleh ahli jawatankuasa perwakilan antara pencapaian akademik dan aktiviti-aktiviti Mahallah. Setakat ini, dia sangat berpuas hati dengan pencapaian pimpinan MURC terdahulu dari segi akademik dan juga pengendalian program-program Mahallah.

Katanya lagi, sepanjang pengalaman beliau di kampus ini, dia telah menjadi saksi insiden seorang Presiden dan Setiausaha yang terkandas dalam pengajian akademik mereka kerana kegagalan mereka membahagikan komitmen antara akademik dan aktiviti-aktiviti Mahallah. Beliau juga berharap insiden sedemikian tidak lagi berlaku pada masa akan datang.

Seterusnya, ucapan tahniah juga acap kali diulang sebut sebagai sumber inspirasi kepada barisan baru MURC kerana menyahut cabaran dilantik sebagai MURC. Ini ialah berikutan kesukaran yang timbul dalam mencari pimpinan baru untuk MURC saban tahun.

Tambahnya lagi, trend universal majikan era ini dalam merekrut pekerja lebih cenderung meletakkan soft skills sebagai prioriti utama sebelum kelayakan akademik. Justeru, memilih untuk menjadi MURC adalah salah satu cara bijak untuk memahirkan diri dengan skil-skil berkaitan.

Dalam masa yang sama, beliau memuji pasukan Felo yang sangat komited dengan aktiviti-aktiviti Mahallah sebelum ini. Akhirnya, beliau berharap supaya keluarga MURC, para Felo, dan Pengetua baru Mahallah Uthman Assoc. Prof Dr. Ramzi akan berjaya membina kimia mantap untuk masa akan datang.

Jawatan Pengetua Mahallah Uthman yang dipegang oleh Dr. Abdul Bari diganti oleh Dr. Ramzi Hussain bermula semester ini.

NEW LINEUP OF MRC MAHALLAH UTHMAN 2011/2012

As the new semester commenced, we have appointed new lineup of Mahallah Uthman Representative Committees for the 2011/2012 session. Therefore, we are hoping that these newly-appointed committees will be able to fulfill their responsibility enthusiastically with the guide of former representatives and also others MRC.  

In order to see the future, we must first look into the past and analyze the issues. The last tenure had successfully organized a total of 19 programs altogether throughout the year. As for that, the new lineups have outlined a series of programs which will be announced later.

Our objectives are to ensure the students' welfare and development treated at best as our commitment and amana are bound with our responsibilities and duties to Uthmanians. We hope that all of our planning will benefit the students' interest and will gain the big support from the students as the sources of our inspirational social capital to achieve the mission and vision of IIUM.
